While obtaining my Masters in Applied Meteorology from Mississippi State University I decided to take part in a storm chasing class out in the Plains from May 8th-May 16th. It originated from Oklahoma City and we went through Texas, Colorado and Kansas. Day 5(May 13th)-Finally leaving Texas! We headed north toward La Junta CO, but not before exploring the Palo Duro Canyon first along the way!
